SunDemand – The sunny side of business
PVO Direct is a webshop that provides solar installations to builders, project developers and installers. As a part of PVO International B.V. they felt it was time to build a brand that would set them apart from their mother-organization, and that would also give them a more distinctive image within the solar market. SunDemand is a webshop with strict policies on quality and origin. They concern themselves about working conditions from their suppliers and are critical about quality and digital safety of products.



Goals
So first and foremost they needed a new a new name for the webshop. We spent some time coming up with a couple of names, before they came up with SunDemand. Beside that we analyzed the brand identity, their position in the market, the market itself and their goals and views on it. Based on this we could start working on the visual brand identity.



Result
Mick.studio helped in a consulting role on the naming and in a strategic way towards building the brand identity. At the same time we developed the visual brand identity around their key propositions. At the base of it; the humble solar cell, as a part of every solar panel. This shape is used to tell the story of customer relations, responsibility and fast delivery to their customers. The new identity was layed over the already existing webshop and it was introduced at the Solar Solutions trade fair in Amsterdam with a new exhibition stand.
